How do you get to and from the camp?
Table of contents
General
You will organize your own journey. You can get to Munich easily by train and coach. Some of the groups mobilizing to Munich will probably organize joint travel. Keep up to date with the respective groups. Also make sure that you travel with the reference group that you will be at the camp with. The camp will take place in Luipoltpark.
Address: Brunnerstraße 2, 80804 Munich
If you have any further questions before your arrival that are not answered on this page, please feel free to send us an email
Safe arrival and departure
We want to enable everyone to arrive and depart as safely as possible.
If you feel unsafe on the way to the camp, please contact us to request an accompanying person to pick you up at a location of your choice and accompany you to the camp.
Please contact us in advance at kontakt@mobiwende.camp if you need help.
Arrival by car
We hope that you do not arrive by car or camper van, as there will be no parking on site, except for caravans for disabled persons (please notify us if you plan to use one).
An inclusion taxi for the seated transport of people in wheelchairs can be ordered, for example, from the Munich wheelchair taxi (+49 89 84938828), from Isarfunk (+49 89 450 540) or from Taxi Munich (+49 89 21610).
If you have any further questions about barrier-free travel, please contact us at kontakt@mobiwende.camp .
Arrival by public transport
The closest stops are Scheidplatz (U2, U3, Tram 28, Tram 12) and Ackermannstraße (Tram 27). Easiest approach from central station is via U2 Feldmoching. Expect increased police presence at both central station and Scheidplatz as well as stop-and-frisk tactics.
At the Scheidplatz underground station, the entry and exit height between the vehicle floor and the platform is 10 cm. Escalators and an elevator are available.
To plan your journey, you can use the MVV timetable information. Special route options and handicaps can also be noted there. A simplified version of the information is available for people with visual impairments. Alternatively, timetable information can also be requested by calling (+49 89 41 42 43 44). A much simplified timetable information is also available for older devices.
